Pricing & Billing FAQ
Clear answers about credits, bulk access, and what happens after 1 month.
Is this a subscription?
No. EpubMaster uses one-time credit purchases (pay-as-you-go). There is no subscription and no auto-renewal.
How are translation credits calculated?
Before a translation starts, the system estimates the required credits based on your document's character count and the selected model's rate. If your balance is sufficient, the task begins. After translation completes, credits are deducted based on actual usage, which may differ from the estimate.
What am I actually buying?
You are buying translation credits. Credits are the core paid value and are consumed as you use paid models.
Do credits expire every month?
Credits do not reset monthly. If you still have credits, you can continue using paid models for core translation.
What is the 1-month bulk feature?
Bulk upload and bulk translation are bonus features included for 1 month after each purchase.
When does the 1-month period start?
It starts from your most recent purchase date. A new purchase refreshes the bulk-access window.
What happens after that month ends?
Bulk features may stop, but any remaining credits can still be used for single-file/core translation.
Do I need to repurchase every month?
Only if you want continuous bulk access. For core translation, you only need available credits.
Why can final credit usage be higher than the estimate?
The estimate is a pre-run forecast. Final billing uses actual runtime consumption, which may vary with content complexity and processing path.
What happens if my balance becomes negative?
A negative balance does not affect completed translations, but you must top up before starting new tasks with paid models.
